Congratulations to Dr. Hsieh-Yee
2009 ASIST SIG Member of the Year
SLIS congratulates Professor Ingrid Hsieh-Yee, who has been named SIG Member of the Year by the American Society for Information Science and Technology (ASIST). Dr. Hsieh-Yee is Chair of the Special Interest Group for Education (SIG ED) of ASIST.
Accreditation Update: SLIS has been fully reaccredited by the Committee on Accreditation of the American Library Association. The Committee voted in favor of full reaccreditation at its meeting during the ALA Conference, and Dean Kelley received notice on July 13 that the School’s next accreditation review will occur in 2016.
