Errata

These changes are not yet reflected in the schedule pages below:

  1. Some classes were originally listed as beginning on May 13. This has been updated in Cardinal Station to May 20.
  2. LSC 557-01 (summer) is an online course, with one face-to-face meeting for orientation on Wed, May 22, 5:00pm-8:00pm in Information Commons.
  3. The summer institute "Digital Collections in Libraries, Archives and Museums" is listed as CLSC 877.
  4. These Summer courses are offered as OWL: LSC 603, LSC 606, LSC 652, LSC 672, LSC 675, LSC 752, LSC 849. They meet face-to-face on the following four Saturdays: Jun 1, Jun 29, July 20, and Aug 10.
  5. These Summer courses are offered as Blended: CLSC 551, LSC 553, LSC 555. See the syllabus for meeting dates.
  6. LSC 879 (fall) is a special topics course, "Public Programs, Outreach and Digital Exhibits."
  7. LSC 553 (fall) is a blended course meeting on select Tuesdays.
  8. CLSC 887, Federal Library Resources, meets Sunday, July 7.

Notes

  1. To register for the summer comprehensive exam, use COMP 598 (with classes) or COMP 599 (without classes).
  2. Effective Fall 2013, several courses will be renumbered as follows:
    • 694A Independent Study
    • 695A Practicum
    • 695B School Library Media Practicum
    • 698A Master's Comps w/Classes
    • 698B Master's Comps w/o Classes
  3. Off campus courses are listed with the subject code CLSC. On-campus courses use the LSC subject code. If you don't see the course you are looking for check the other subject code.
  4. In Cardinal Station, to search for on-campus courses, select “Library & Information Science”. To search for off-campus courses (i.e., CLSC courses), select “Library Info Science: O/C”.
  5. All courses are face-to-face except where noted.
  6. Fall OWL classes meet Sep 7, Oct 5, Nov 2 and Dec 7.
