Dr. Bill Kules presented two papers at the 2010 conference of the
Association of Library and Information Science Educators (ALISE):
"Investigating Gaze Behavior in Faceted Search Interfaces for Library
Catalogs" reported on an OCLC/ALISE funded study of how searchers use faceted search interfaces. "LIS Program Expectations of Incoming
Student Technology Knowledge and Skills" analyzed the technology
skills that LIS program expect of their incoming students, and
suggested actions that programs can take to make these expectations clearer to students.
