The SLIS Computer Lab staff are available to assist students in using the computing resources for all courses.

Cardinal Station - This is the system used to register for classes. A student guide on how to use Cardinal Station is available at: Cardinal Station Students' Guide .

Passwords - Anyone who plans to use the computer classrooms needs to have a password account which is managed by the Center for Planning and Information Technology (CPIT). You must fill out a form available from the lab, or from the SLIS offices. This form must be signed by the Dean or Assistant Dean then mailed or faxed to CPIT. Once your account is established, you may change your password offsite using the Changing Passwords procedures.

Loading Class Web Pages on the Server - All arrangements for loading class web pages are managed by CPIT. They will establish a web share (space on the server) for your web pages and give you a path to the server connected to your user ID and password that will allow you to upload web pages. You may email CPIT at help@cua.edu for help.

Blackboard or Sakai - If you need help in using the online Learning Management Systems Blackboard or Sakai you may view the details at:Learning Management Guide then email the contact person Dr. Saiid Ganjalizadeh at ganjalizadeh@cua.edu
