Software for Classes - The computer labs run only licensed software on all computers. In the WindowsXP environment only an Adminstrator can load most software so that it will run properly. In order that the faculty and students will have a safe and trouble free computing environment, the Technology Committee has established procedures for requesting the purchase of software. Please consult the Technology Acquisition Policy and use the Technology Acquisition Request Form to submit requests.

Loading Class Web Pages on the Server - All arrangements for loading class web pages are managed by CPIT. They will establish a web share (space on the server) for your class web pages and give you a path to the server connected to your user ID and password that will allow you to upload web pages. You may email CPIT at help[at]cua.edu for help.

Blackboard or Sakai - If you want to use the online Learning Management Systems Blackboard or Sakai you may view the details at:Using Technology for Teaching and Research page and then email the contact person Dr. Saiid Ganjalizadeh at ganjalizadeh[at]cua.edu
